We want you to be completely happy with your jewellery. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work at Shreeji Jewellers. Purchases are made in store; no payments are taken on this website.
1. Exchange of jewellery
- Jewellery bought from us may be exchanged for another piece within 7 days of purchase, if it is unused, undamaged and returned with the original invoice, hallmark and certificates.
- The exchange value is based on the gold rate on the day of exchange. Making charges and stone charges may be adjusted as stated on the original invoice.
- Diamond and gemstone jewellery is exchangeable against the certificate value as per the invoice.
2. Buy-back and old-gold exchange
- We accept gold of any origin for exchange. Purity is tested openly in front of you and the value is calculated on the prevailing rate after deducting applicable melting or wastage charges.
- You will receive a written valuation before you decide.
3. Refunds
- Refunds are offered only where a product is found defective, is materially different from what was invoiced, or purity is found below the hallmark stated.
- Approved refunds are made to the original mode of payment within 7 working days. Cash payments above the limit permitted by law are refunded by bank transfer.
4. Items that cannot be returned or refunded
- Custom, made-to-order and engraved/personalised jewellery, once work or material purchase has begun.
- Items damaged, altered, resized or worn after purchase, or returned without the invoice.
- Gold coins and bars, which are exchangeable only at the day's rate.
- Wholesale / bulk orders, unless agreed in writing at the time of order.
5. Repairs and servicing
We provide repair, polishing and resizing for jewellery purchased from us. Charges, if any, are told in advance. Repair timelines are communicated when you hand over the item.
6. How to request a return or exchange
Visit our store with your invoice, or message us on WhatsApp at +91 86055 05091 or by email at shreejijewellers014@gmail.com with your invoice number and a brief description. We will confirm the next steps.
